We were asked to rethink Booking.com’s filter system from the perspective of Gen Z. A group that thrives on fast interactions and instant visual feedback—like on Instagram and TikTok—needs a more dynamic approach to travel planning. However, Booking.com’s current filter system is purely text-based and lacks interactivity.
Our solution: Trip Boards —a visually driven, Pinterest-style feature where users can curate their travel preferences effortlessly and playful. Based on their selections, the system intelligently suggests accommodations, activities, and flights, making the planning experience more engaging, seamless, and personalized.
