With the awareness of having the supposedly perfect knowledge at our fingertips in our pockets or on our desks, our thinking changes, as does our way of formulating questions and putting them out into the world. The internet provides an unbiased anonymity that offers us a safe place to find answers to questions that we would otherwise probably keep to ourselves. Online search engines can create frequencies from the queries that complete potential search queries.

These search suggestions are generated by the number, location and time of the search query and thus show us frequently searched terms and phrases in our neighbourhood. Can these also be representative of the interests of an entire country or culture? In the book ‘Why do I not have a red Mercedes’, these search suggestions are listed and compared worldwide using the Latin alphabet and seven W questions.
